Returning an item

We hope that you are satisfied with the products that you purchase from Virtual Nations. Every effort is made to ensure the quality and timely delivery of the goods you have ordered. We do accept that there may be a need for Customers to return products to us under some circumstance. This information will help you and us to ensure this process is completed as quickly as possible.

Circumstances

You can return the items you have purchased for the following reasons.

1. You decide to cancel your order. You have the right to do this up to 10 days from the order being placed. If you decide to cancel your order before you receive the goods and they subsequently arrive, you must not open the goods but return them to us immediately.

2. Within 7 days of receipt of the goods you may return them to us providing they remain unused and are still in the original packaging. If the packaging is damaged or the 7 day period has expired then you can not return the goods.

3. The goods are faulty or damaged prior to receipt by you. In this case you will have the option to have a new product sent to you or cancel your order. If you choose to cancel we will refund your payment as defined in the terms and conditions.


Lost & missing deliveries

If you are waiting for goods from Virtual Nations that you think may be overdue then please check the delivery dates first. Your order will advise you of the "normal dispatch" period of the goods and the delivery period. If the sum of these items gives a date that is passed then your order may be lost. You will have also received an email from Virtual Nations advising you the goods were dispatched.

Once you have established the goods were dispatched and the delivery period is now exceeded then please advise us by email to lost@virtualnations.net . We will track the package for you and advise you of its present status.



What to do

Once you have determined the need to return the goods then you must immediately send an email to returns@virtualnations.net. Please state the reason for return.

We will advise you of how to return the goods to us including the address to which the goods should be sent.

In the instance where goods are returned for reasons 1 and 2 above, you will be responsible for the cost of return postage and accept the risk of goods during transit. In the case of returns for reason 3, the cost of return carriage and risk will be borne by Virtual Nations.

In all instances you should include the following information with the goods:

  • Details of your order number and the reason for the return;
  • in the case of a faulty product, please provide a full description of the fault in the space provided on the delivery slip;
  • wrap the item securely in its original packaging with any additional items that were included;
  • then send the package by recorded delivery to the address advised by Virtual Nations;
  • we will notify you via e-mail when we have processed your refund.
